here is a commissions i've been working on for a while now. with things that have happened to me in the past few months i haven't been able to work on it until now.
i was happy to get the time to finish it up

Ya know... I was never a Optimus Prime fan... Goody-two-shoes "with the usual Destiny and Honor Speech" never won me over (neither did Leonardo from TMNT for the same reasons,) But this is pretty steller. Part Patlabor, Part Gundam, allllllll Transformers.

Great job with the legs too. Legs can be very difficult to design when it comes to Eastern Mecha, regardless if it's R-R (Gundam, FSS, Patlabor, etc) or S-R (TF, SRW, etc) and I see more artist struggle with legs than any other part. Superb job mate

I just LOVE this piece! perfect balance between the classic/old school and the new school, with plenty of anime influence. And the best part? It does NOT look like a freaking chicken-legged bug-face alien!
