so this is the cover to this years TFcon comic.
this cover features a battle between stronghold and toxin, which are the exclusives at this years show.
now first off i will say that i didn't have the final design for stronghold. i was told to get rid of the cow catchers on the shoulders, so i just made flat shoulders. but after seeing the final design i was a bit upset, but in the comic fiction he has flat shoulders. but i guess it would have been very hard to modify him to get rid of the upright shoulders.
oh well, i still like how this turned out.
i liked the idea of having toxin's tail wrap around stronghold. i think it gives him a more snake like feel, and makes him more badass :)
so i got Josh Perez to work on the cover :) he also did ther interiors of the comic. i think we both had a lot of fun with this project.
well, back to work

It's very nice - the only problem I can see with it is that the similar colours for the characters (and lack of disambiguation) make it a little difficult to determine what's going on, at first.

DEATH THE MAINSTREAM TRANSFORMERS!!!

I'm glad people are still drawing transformers as they should be, as Super-Robots, and not this overly-detailed walking chunks of glitzy-garbage.
