so this is one of the new print images i'm working on for the upcoming fan expo in Toronto which is next weekend.
i've been meaning to do more movie bot pictures, but for some reason i've forgot about them.
so i decided that i would make another one. this time i want bumblebee to be the main focus of the piece. i threw sideswipe in there because i like the design, and they are both 2 cool sports cars :)
so i figured i'd show the progress of this image with you.
here are the pencils
i don't normally do full pencils for a piece like this, but i wanted to make sure i got most of the details in there and i wanted to see how the darker areas would look and if i needed to add more.
i like the way it turned out so it's good to go on to the next stage, the inking. i really, really don't want to ink this. there are so many lines :C i kid, i know it's going to be a lot of work, but it will be fun.
i will probably add and refine the details in the background when i ink it :)

Strangely I can read this better than the inks. I like the depth on the pencils a lot. I'd almost want to colors these as they are, haha.

X) inking always gets me down too... especially after all the work you put in for the pencil art? Ugh... frustrating, but like you say rewarding in the long run :)

i don't care for that kind of comment on my DA page. thats something best to be discussed on the various transformers forums.
i know a lot of people don't like the live action movie stuff, but i personally don't mind them, I won't allow that kind of debate in my gallery. i hope you can understand. i just want comments on the art, not weather you like what bay did to transformer or not.
