woo hoo. thats all i can say when i got to draw this. i really wanted to draw devastator form the new movie, and i got to when working on this book.
i was really lucky when udon asked me to work on these readers digest books again. i did them for the first movie, and that was my first time ever drawing the new movie bots. this time around i had a better handle on them, and i feel i did a better job with them. this is probably my favourite picture i did out of all of them.

now i did these illustrations way before i saw any of the cgi stuff, or ads for the movie, so there are probably many things that aren't on model with the final look of the movie.

wrong. they didn't take that long to do. but i've been drawing movie bots for a while now, so they're pretty easy for me to do.

Spectacular! I love movie Devastator's design, and I'm loving your treatment of him. This scene is really dynamic and intense. I wish Devastator could've gotten something like this in the movie.

Anyway, I hope to see some more Devastator art from you in the future, because he looks great.
