i guess since this book is out i can show this off here.
this was one of many illustrations i did for udon, who were contracted by readers digest for there transformers: revenge of the fallen kids books.

now i did these illustration way before i saw any of the cgi stuff, or ads for the movie, so there are probably many things that aren't on model with the final look of the movie.

i wish this happened in the movie. it would have been really cool, and we would have seen more of sideways in robot mode. well, one can always dream

Really great. It was a shame that Sideways wasn't really seen in robot mode. Especially since his alt mode is the Audi R8, which is like the sweetest car ever.
Which book is this exactly? I mean, which book is this drawing from?

Hmmmmm.....if only that would've happened in the Movie instead of being sliced in half like knife through hot butter in alt mode.

Your work never ceases to amaze me. Colored or uncolored, there is so much detail thrown into such an interesting composition it's hard not to spent time just studying it. And I love it! <3

And you're right, it would have been great to see more of Sideway's robot form along with just plain ole' seeing Sideswipe kick so much tin can! I would have paid extra just for 30 seconds more of these two.

If... you don't mind, would you be okay with letting me color this? Mind you, whether or not I get around to it would depend on my work load, but this looks like it would be a fun challenge to color between projects and school. It will stay solely in my dA gallery with a link to the original line art here along with a generous disclaimer, but I'd MUCH rather ask you first before I get any ideas.
