Description

So here is the lineart for issue 37 of MTMTE.
This was a fun piece to do since I decided to ink this image mainly with a brush.
there are a few tiny areas where I used a tech pen, mainly where there are ellipses that needed to be inked and some of the long straight lines in the background.  So on average I would say 90-95% of this image was inked with a brush.
It probably took me a bit longer to do since I don't normally ink with a brush unless i'm filling in the black areas or doing smoke, so this was a nice change.
I hope there will be another cover in the future where I can use this method again.

The colours were done by the very talented Josh Perez.  Not sure how he felt about this cover since its not my normal style of work I give him, but I enjoy how it turned out :)

For some reason, when I read Last Stand of the Wrecker now, I imagine Impactor talking with a Stallone-like voice. I guess it's because he sort of reminds me of John Rambo. Then again, the Wreckers remind me of a lot of those awesome action hero flicks of the 70s, 80s, & 90s. Springer reminds me of Harrison Ford, Kup reminds me of Clint Eastwood, Impactor reminds of both Sylvester Stallone & Arnold Schwarzenegger. They're just too freaking awesome!
