She looks awesome. Hope we will finally get a toy of her and she looks as awesome as this! I want Arcee since my childhood now... :( And my Rodimus needs his girlfriend.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is that her design from her Spotlight issue? Cuz it looks pretty similar, and if it is then bravo cuz I loved that design.

I LOVE  FIXIT's look, it's like "LOOK AT THAT FOOL" , i kinda love the personality roberts gave him.

Flatline is such an awesome character. I can just imagine him saying "we done good, Ratchet" in this page. The amount of detail both you and Josh and all the other artists/writers put into each page really speaks about your dedication to this comic. You guys never waste any words, or any lines in this comic series! Fantastic job good sir! Arcee does look great in red. It's like think this is her way of wearing her enemies "blood" without actually killing anyone the process. XD

I love the new color scheme. And I noticed the spray paint can my first run through! I love that you add those little details, they really embellish the story and I admit I like to develop silly head canon based off many of them. Keep up the great work, it's always a pleasure!

Always happy to see you and Josh teaming up. You all make a great team and make reading these issues a real treat with the the combined details and atmosphere.

Also, great job with Arcee. You did an amazing job making her still recognizable to her original design while tailoring her to a more practical look. I honestly didn't mind her previous designs (all of them have been a lot of fun), but I really like this design for how it finds a great middle ground of still being recognizably female but not 'hit you over the head with it obvious.'

...If that makes any sense. I guess what I mean is thanks for finding a middle ground with such a controversial character when it comes to female representation. :)

it makes sense to me :)
glad this design appeals to you.  it was a bit tough to find that middle ground going on the little image that hasbro sent us  saying this is what the new Arcee will be based on.
the image didn't even look like it could transform, and it was also much closer to a G1 looking Arcee which doesn't match the character that IDW has created.  so i had to find a happy middle ground that got a lot of what hasbro wanted, but then also didn't stray too much from the comic's personality.  then i had to make it try and make it more like a transformer since the original image had no way it could transform into the alt mode they wanted.    thats the only sucky thing about working on something hasbro hasn't finished getting the design done for yet.

I enjoy the new design and the black lips, though I must say... I miss the fangs, the yellow eyes, the beam sabers and the spiked gauntlets of the Spotlight issue. It had a sharper, more dynamic and visually-interesting silhouette to me. Am I correct in saying one of the biggest design challenges thus far is getting the legs to look good while matching the rest of the design?

I was also rather curious if Arcee's red targeting visor from the 1986 film would ever make a comeback. I always thought the ruby shades would look great on IDW Arcee.
