so the solicitations for June are out and i guess i can show off this cover to MTMTE issue 6 now :)
i had a lot of fun with this cover.
the original concept for the cover was Rung on his knees with his arms bound behind his back with a gun pointed at his head.
i did a few roughs with that idea, but then this image came to me and i drew it and submitted it. well everyone liked this concept the best and it's now the cover.
poor Rung, he never seems to get a break
another fun fact with this cover is that it was the last cover i drew in 2011. i did this one at some point in december last year. makes me wonder how many covers i'll do ahead of time for this year ;p
so this cover was colored by my awesome bud Josh Perez :D if we can't work on a whole comic together, we can at least work on covers together.
he really did an amazing job of capturing the mood i wanted with this cover. i really loved it when he first showed it to me.
who is pointing this gun in his face. you'll have to wait until June to find out :p

How's that knack for staying out of trouble, Rung? Working out for you still? :D

Just, agh... I'm going crazy over the mechanisms in his hands! This just makes me want to build robot parts in my garage or something. The wholes series does.
